Improvements

  • Account Profile: For applicable users, help text indicating that no settings are available has been added to the User Settings section.
  • Alerts: Now, when you click a corresponding event on an alert details page, all sections in the findings details are automatically expanded.

Fixes

  • File Threats: An issue that prevented users from downloading the CSV file on the File Threats page when the table of threats was not in its default order has been resolved. Now, you can download the CSV file after sorting the table.

Improvements

  • Investigate: Wildcard searches of the field "datasrc.instance.name” have been enabled.
  • Reports: Now, beside any table in a generated report, there is a link that you can click to open an investigation in ActiveEye displaying the data used to generate the table. This gives you quick access to the data in ActiveEye so that you can further investigate or refine results.
  • Reports: Entries in the Description fields of report templates and modules can now be longer and support additional formatting options.
  • Users: A field to designate a user's country has been added to the Add User page.

  • Reports: When editing a report module, you can now click the Edit Query button to open a page where you can edit the query associated with the report module.

  • Reports: When generating a Monthly Security Report, you can now specify a date range for the report.
  • Endpoint Status: The Create Report Template button has been added to the Endpoint Status page, enabling you to quickly create a Cortex XDR or Carbon Black Endpoint Report.

Fixes

  • Reports: An issue that temporarily prevented the creation of report templates from investigations has been resolved.

Improvements

  • ActiveEye: To provide the user with a better view of system processes, when a system process is taking place, a spinner icon now appears, and actions are temporarily disabled until the action is complete.
  • Investigate: Modifications to investigation filters are now represented in the Investigation page's URL. Now, if you modify the filters of an investigation and copy the page's URL, the modifications are present when you reaccess that URL.

  • Endpoint Status: Customers using the Carbon Black service connector can now access the Endpoint Status page. This Reporting feature displays information related to Carbon Black endpoints, as well as Cortex XDR endpoints, if applicable. You can also download the endpoint informaiton as a CSV file.

Fixes

  • Alerts: An issue that limited users from downloading more than 25 alerts has been resolved. Users can now download all alerts on the Alerts page.

  • Endpoint Status: Customers using the Cortex XDR service connector can now access the Endpoint Status page. This new Reporting feature displays information related to Cortex XDR endpoints. You can also download the endpoint informaiton as a CSV file.

Improvements

  • Reports: When uploading a report, on the Report Upload page, you can now select a team to associate with the report. Also, on the Reports page, you can now filter the results based on team.

Fixes

  • Dashboard: An issue that caused unassigned alerts to be included in the calculation of the Alerts Resolved by Automation percentage has been resolved.

  • ASTRO Log Volume Report: ASTRO customers can click a new left-navigation option to access the ASTRO Log Volume Report page, which displays log volumes and entity counts by zone. You can also download the information as a CSV.
  • Service Connectors: The Cortex XDR service connector has been improved to allow parent-child relationships.

New Features

  • ASTRO Configuraiton Report: ASTRO customers can click a new left-navigation option to access the ASTRO Configuraiton Report page, which lists potential misconfigurations of endpoints in the system based on the host name and/or IP Address discovered by ActiveEye.

Improvements

  • Daily Email Summaries: Because reports serve as the basis for daily email summaries, the left-navigation option for Daily Email Summary has been moved from the Admin section to the Reporting section.
  • Investigate: When investigating, filtering by IP addresses and integers now supports multiple input values, like string value filters.

Fixes

  • Alerts: An issue where some manual alerts displayed negative resolution times has been resolved.
  • Investigate: Previously, the investigation page could load infinitely or crash due to search technology. This issue has been resolved.

New Features

  • Account Profile: Users can now access the User Permissions section on their account profile. This section displays the permissions that are assigned to the user on each customer account to which the user has access.
  • Admin: For users with delegated access to customer accounts, you can now specify the roles assigned to the user in each customer account.
  • ASTRO Visibility Page: ASTRO customers can click a new left-navigation option to access the ASTRO Visibility page, which displays all hostnames and IPs discovered within your network, a well as log data for the past 30 days.
  • Reports: A search field has been added to the Reports page to enhance usability.

Fixes

  • Admin: Previously, creating a user with no roles for a non-partner customer could result in an error. This issue has been resolved.
  • Login: Previously, if a user was logged out of ActiveEye due to inactivity while multiple browser windows were open, the user could be forced to log back in twice. This issue has been resolved.

  • Service Connectors: The Prisma Cloud service, a vulnerability management and compliance tool for containers in cloud environments, is now supproted in ActiveEye via the Prisma Cloud service connector.

Improvements

  • Account Profile: Help text has been added to the User Settings section to better indicate how to set or reset a customer codeword.
  • Contacts: Help text explaining template types has been added to the Add Contact page.
  • Reports: The organizations and layout of monthly reports has been improved.

  • ActiveEye: To improve consistency of presentation throughout ActiveEye, the primary font used in the program has been standardized to Inter.
  • Dashboard: The presentation of alerts has been improved on the dashboard.
  • User Logs: User logs now record the specific roles added to or removed from users.

Fixes

  • ActiveEye: An issue where email addresses with only two characters were not accepted has been resolved.
  • Investigate: An issue where the names of newly added columns would not update has been resolved.

New Features

  • Delegated Access: For any user, you can now delegate their access to any number of customer accounts, or you can revoke access. When you delegate user access to a customer account, the user will be able to access that customer account with specifically defined roles.
  • Login: Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for customers has been improved.

Improvements

  • Customers: You can now switch customer accounts by selecting the customer name in the upper-left corner of any page in ActiveEye, when available.

Fixes

  • Alerts: An issue where a Vesta EDR pop-up window would appear each time the alert summary was loaded has been resolved.
  • Investigate: An issue where pop-up windows related to an investigation could display incorrect dates when comparing two timelines has been resolved.

  • Account Profile: In User Settings, users can now change their customer codeword, and the codeword can now include numeric characters.
  • Dashboard: On the dashbaord, when vieing security cases, the selected month is now displayed to provide greater clarity.

Fixes

  • Alerts: An issue where filters on the Alerts page that contained a '-' (long_dash) character caused an error has been resolved.
  • Daily Email Summary: Previously, clicking the Back button after deleting a daily email summary would cause an error message to appear. This issue has been resolved.
  • Queries: An issue where radio buttons on the Create Query page could overlap has been resolved.
